What does the CURRENT system do?
CURRENT manages your electric vehicle chargers and charge points for you. Our goal is to make it possible for you to own chargers without having to do administrative work. We handle invoicing, tracking, and tax reporting on your behalf. We gather your chargers into an easy-to-use dashboard. In the dashboard, you can update your charge points and check their status. You don’t have to worry about customer support; we handle that for you.
Easily manage & customize your charging stations
Our system lets you access all the features you need to keep your charging system running. Thanks to CURRENT’s self-healing algorithms, you’ll have limited maintenance needs. You’ll also have access to the dashboard. From the dashboard, you’ll be able to do the following:
- Decide to let anyone can pay to user your chargers or make them private.
- Use dynamic pricing to set up pricing rules. The system will then adjust the charging price according to those rules.
- Check the system in real time and start or stop charging as needed.
Smart Energy Management
We’ve designed the system to protect your electrical system and chargers. If you choose our system, you’ll have access to:
- Static Load Management, which makes sure your electrical system isn’t overloaded.
- Dynamic Load Management, which distributes energy between the vehicles’ charging.
- Peak Power Control, which lets you avoid expensive energy peaks.
- Queue Management, which provides all your users with a fair charging experience.
Automate payment and invoicing
Our system lets you create your own pricing plans and account for tariffs. You’ll also be able to receive payment in different currencies. You can even enable spot pricing, to ensure that your users never pay more than they have to. No matter what you do, our system handles billing and issues receipts to your users. The system integrates with several payment providers, and offers options such as credit cards, PayPal, SMS, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Make it your own
If you would like to brand your charging network, we can help you with that. We offer you the opportunity to brand your charging system with your own logo, text, and identity. That way, you can present users with your very own charging app. We let you customize your receipts and communications to fit your brand. You can even connect your charging system to your own systems, such as your billing system, CRM, and other back-end infrastructure.
