Why is the charging point under maintenance?

When is maintenance mode used?

In some cases, a charger or charging station may experience technical issues that cannot be resolved remotely.

If assistance from an installer is required and the issue is awaiting resolution, the site owner or Current may place the charging point in maintenance mode.

What does maintenance mode mean?

When a charging point is placed in maintenance mode, this will be displayed in CURRENT Charge. Instead of a Start button, a message will be shown indicating that the charging point is under maintenance.

This is a way of informing EV drivers that the charging point is temporarily unavailable for use.
