STEP 3: Access to charging point
Once you have downloaded CURRENT Charge, registered an account, and added a payment method, you need access to your charging point in order to charge.
To gain access to your charging point, you can contact your board, who can grant you access via our portal, contact Current support by phone, or fill out the form via the provided link.
If the board adds you to your charging point, you do not need to pay for access.
Payment - When am I charged by Current as a private customer?
When you register an account in CURRENT Charge, the default payment frequency is once per month, on the 25th.
This means that all charging sessions and transactions that occur between the 25th of one month and the 25th of the next month are collected into a payment draft. Your account is then charged on the 25th.
Current can change the payment ffrequency if you wish - either to weekly, every other week, or with due dates on the 1st or the 15th.
Please contact Current Support if you would like to change your payment frequency.
How to get started with a charging card or charging tag (RFID)
Note: this guide assumes that you are standing by a charging point.

CURRENT Charge supports all types of charging cards and charging tags (RFID) that the charger's reader accepts.
- Log in to thei CURRENT Charge app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Charging tags
- Tap Add charging tag
- Select the charging station you are near. Remember to allow location services, as the app needs to know your current position.

- Place the charging card or charging tag on the reader of the charging unit.
Note: Some chargers require the cable to be connected to both the car and the charger when activating the charging card or charging tag.
